Product Review: Bobbie Cosmetic's Poof! Concealer

Hello gorgeous! I'm back with another product review. I'll be reviewing a concealer from a new local cosmetic brand, Bobbie cosmetics which I think was launched last year. I've first heard of it from Ms. Say of saytiocoartillero and it seemed like she liked some of Bobbie cosmetic's product because it's affordable but does work. I was thinking what to get from Bobbie Cosmetics and then while I was checking out each of their products, the saleslady was also explaining each which is kind of helpful. At first I thought of getting a lipstick from them because the shades are wearable and is perfect for everyday but I don't wanna replace my favorite 'MLBB' or 'My Lips But Better' lipstick so I just got their concealer. While I was checking out their concealer, I remembered Ms. Say mentioned that she likes it so I was quite intrigued.

On the packaging it says..

Conceals and sets in one portable kit
Blends easily to instantly cover and brighten dark spots and discolorations
Enriched with antioxidant vitamins C and E that helps repair, soothe and brighten skin

My shade: #1 (I think they are available in three shades. Shade #1 being the lightest and #3 the darkest)

Place bought: SM Manila

Price: 100php

I love the color of the packaging! Pink. The packaging is also a bit similar to MAC cosmetic's concealer pot

The shade that I got is the lightest (#1) though my perfect match is shade #2. I asked the saleslady what shade suits me best and she said #2 and swatched it at the back of my hand. But then she asked me if I'm acidic and I said yes so she gave me the lightest shade instead so may be it oxidizes.

The first thing you will see when you open up the product is the concealer itself

(When I first opened it, I tried to swipe my fingers into it and it was hard! Like I thought mine got dried up but it just has this hard layer on top)

Bare face. Here you can see blemishes on my cheeks and my dark underyes.

As you can see I didn't go for full coverage because to be honest, it gets cakey.

My thoughts..

It's not creamy at all in my opinion. It has a matte finish and accentuates dry patches. It sets quickly into the skin so better apply a moisturizer first before applying this. The coverage is pretty much from medium to full however whenever I try to build up the coverage, it would look cakey which doesn't look nice! (Well, base on my experience) Anyways, this is a very cheap concealer for only 100php so I could say that it's worth a try specially if you're on a budget.

Verdict..

Will I repurchase? Hmm.. I think no. However I can say that it's worth a try if you're a student or just in a budget. It does conceal my imperfection but my only problem is that it sometimes looks cakey. For the price and quality, you get what you paid for.
